Information as USCIS provides it. Status messages, dates and history come from USCIS, or from data you paste in. USCIS may update its records later than events happen, and its messages can be brief, delayed or incomplete. Descriptions of status codes come from the published National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) code list and may not reflect how USCIS uses a code in a given case. The progress stage and day counts are estimates drawn from those messages and do not predict when USCIS will decide your case.

Your privacy. A receipt number you look up is sent to USCIS through our secure relay to fetch the status, and neither we nor the relay keep a copy. Case data you paste, upload or send with RT Case Reader is read only in your browser and is not sent to us or stored on our servers. Cases you track are saved only in this browser, and you can remove them at any time.
